250G Whole wheat flour
1Tbsp baking powder
1prize salt
1Tbsp Sugar (brown)
4thPc Eggs
250ml Buttermilk
2Tbsp Butter (soft)
1Tbsp Butter for baking

  1. For the wholemeal pancakes, mix the eggs, buttermilk, butter, salt and sugar in a bowl with the whisk. Mix flour and baking powder and stir into the mixture. Beat vigorously with the whisk, there should be no more lumps.
  2. Heat the butter in a pan, add a ladle of batter to the pan and bake the pancakes over high heat for 2 minutes on both sides until golden brown.

Tips on the recipe

Serve the pancakes with maple syrup.
